as one of the most compliant factories in Southeast Asia, Dressmen
factories are fully compliant and conform to ILO, Bangladesh Labor Laws
and individual buyers compliance requirements. In 2009, Dressmen Limited
our flagship unit collaborated in a joint venture program with Marks

To support this program along with our in house expertise, a training
program was set up with Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), GTZ
(German Technical Collaboration) and GSD of UK (General Sewing Data).
Training was imparted in Human Resources Management, Social Compliance,
Health & Safety and Industrial Engineering. The collaboration was a
massive success and was first presented in September 2009 to all the
retailers operating out of Bangladesh by Ms. Fiona Sadler, Ethical
Trading Manager. Mr. KrishanHundal, General Manager Technology (Marks
& Spencer Plc) presented the program to NGOs, press and other
stakeholders in January 2010 at the University of London. Mr. Fahim H.
